It could be recalled that only yesterday, an Abuja High Court presided over by Justice Hamza, ruled that the APC Chairmanship Election that took place in Kano recently was won by Ahmad Haruna Danzago and not the faction held by Abdullahi Abbas.

Abdullahi Abbas who has been the APC Chairman in Kano for a long time was sponsored by the state’s governor while Danzago’s faction was sponsored by Senator Ibrahim Shekarau, Senator Jibril Maliya, Honourable Ibrahim Sharada and other top members of the party like the former Deputy Governor, Professor Hafiz Abubakar.

After the election, the National Caretaker Committee of the party tried to intervene, but those close to the governor went on insulting and embarrassing remarks against Shekarau by alleging that he is not a politician of honour because he is always fond of doublespeak, he is also stingy and has never helped the party financially.

In his reply, Shekarau said everybody in Kano knows that Governor Ganduje is not only corrupt but he is the leader of collecting dollars as bribes.
