Popular nightclub owner, Tari Ajanami, kidnapped in Bayelsa

Oyintari Ajanami, a popular nightclub owner in Bayelsa State on Wednesday was kidnapped by gunmen in Yenagoa, the state capital.

According to reports, the 43-year-old who owns 64 Lifestyle, was abducted from his building project site, along Otiotio road at about 6 pm on Wednesday night, when he went to pay workers.

Prior to his adoption, Ajanami, an indigene of Ayamasa town in Ekeremor Local Government Area of the State threw a lavish birthday party.

Asinim Butwat, the Police Command spokesman of the State who confirmed the incident said police operatives are on the trail of the abductors.

“On 28 July 2021 at about 2100 hours, three armed men kidnapped one Oyintari Ajanani, male 43 years at Otiotio, Yenagoa.

“All operatives have been alerted and are on the trail of the suspects,” he said.
