Residents rescue abandoned newborn in Gashua

An innocent baby girl was discovered two nights ago abandoned inside an old vehicle along Tori Mai Kifi Street in Sabon Gari, Gashua, Yobe State.
The newborn, helpless and fragile, was left in silence under intense heat and unhygienic conditions.
Neptune Prime gathered that local residents found the baby and immediately took her to the ward head’s residence (Mai Anguwa Tilo), where the appropriate authorities were notified.

The Good Samaritans urged concerned citizens, especially women of conscience, to remain vigilant and assist in identifying the mother.
They prayed that Allah expose those responsible for such an inhumane act, protect the innocent child and strengthen compassion and humanity among people.
The Yobe State Police Command confirmed the incident.
