Rihanna tops Forbes’ list as America’s wealthiest female musician, surpassing Taylor Swift, Beyoncé

Robyn Rihanna Fenty, popularly known as Rihanna has officially claimed the title of the wealthiest female musician in the United States, surpassing renowned artists such as Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, and Madonna.

Despite not releasing new music in recent years, the talented star has continued to make waves in various arenas.

Rihanna’s success has been remarkable, with notable achievements like her Super Bowl Halftime Show becoming the most streamed performance ever and her becoming the most followed female celebrity on Twitter.

Forbes, in their recently released list of America’s Richest Self-Made Women, confirms her position as the wealthiest female celebrity, estimating her net worth at $1.4 billion (equivalent to N644 billion).

According to The Daily Mail, Forbes attributes Rihanna’s wealth to two primary sources of income: her stake in Fenty Beauty and her successful music career.

Her cosmetics brand, Fenty Beauty, has proven to be a lucrative venture, while her music catalog continues to generate substantial revenue.

Taylor Swift secured the second spot on the list, boasting a net worth of $740 million (equivalent to N340 billion).

The award-winning singer’s wealth predominantly stems from her highly successful music releases, as well as her revenue-generating concerts and tours.

Madonna ranks as the third wealthiest female singer, with a net worth of $580 million (equivalent to N266 billion).

Known for her groundbreaking music and iconic performances, Madonna’s financial success has been a testament to her enduring popularity.

Following closely behind is Beyoncé Knowles, with a net worth of $540 million (equivalent to N248 billion).

While she has also made strides in the fashion industry, a significant portion of Queen Bey’s wealth is derived from her successful solo music career and her time as a member of Destiny’s Child.

Celine Dion, the talented singer known for her hit “The Power Of Love,” claims the fifth spot on the list with a total net worth of $480 million (equivalent to N220 billion).
