Yobe gov't approves ₦2.8 billion for construction of modern markets, others Story by Sa'adatu MAINA, Damaturu The Yobe State Executive Council has approved the sum of ₦2,787,625,946.89 for the construction of Machina Modern Market, while ₦3,015,000,625.00 was approved as a variation for Geidam Modern Market. The State Commissioner, Ministry for Home Affairs Information and Culture, Alhaji Abdullahi Bego, made this known while briefing journalists shortly after the Exco meeting on Wednesday.
