Chinese contractor to return to Jakana-Auno as soon as the insecurity prevalent is tackled – Minister

The Minister of State for Works and Housing, Engineer Abubakar D. Aliyu has said that construction workers have returned to Damaturu-Maiduguri highway to complete the remaining 45km stretch between Jakana and Auno. Engineer Aliyu had on September 26, 2020, said the Chinese contractor, CCECC, would return to the site and complete the project as soon as the insecurity prevalent in the area is tackled.
