Four killed in stampede during zakat distribution    The Nigeria Police Force has confirmed that four persons lost their lives during a stampede at a Ramadan alms distribution event in Katsina. Read also: Seven confirmed dead during alms-giving stampede in Bauchi According to police authorities, the tragic incident occurred when a large crowd gathered to receive charitable donations (zakat) organised by private individuals as part of Ramadan humanitarian activities.
