NAPTIP brings back 13-year-old trafficking victim from Burkina Faso The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) has rescued and repatriated a 13-year-old Nigerian girl who was trafficked to Burkina Faso for sexual exploitation. According to the agency, the victim was lured out of Nigeria under false pretences and subsequently forced into prostitution after arriving in Burkina Faso. Her ordeal came to light following intelligence shared by international partners and local authorities in the West African country.
