Tinubu directs Egbetokun’s exit as AIG Tunji Disu set to take over The Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has stepped down from office following a directive from President Bola Tinubu, sources within the Presidency have confirmed. According to insiders, Mr Egbetokun was asked to resign during a meeting with the President at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Monday. Preparations are reportedly underway for a formal handover.
