FG approves ₦5bn relief for Singer Market fire victims The Federal Government has announced a ₦5 billion intervention fund for traders affected by the recent inferno at Singer Market in Kano, offering immediate support to hundreds whose shops and goods were destroyed. The donation was made public on Monday by Vice-President Kashim Shettima during a sympathy visit to the scene of the disaster. According to him, the package, approved by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is intended to help victims rebuild their livelihoods and revive commercial activities within the market.
