Thieves hijack Christmas food, drinks from man in Kaduna

Suspected bandits disrupted Christmas preparations for a man in Kaduna State by snatching his food items and drinks.

The incident reportedly occurred on Saturday, December 21, at Gidan Abe community in Kachia Local Government Area.

According to reports, the man was riding his motorcycle back to Gidan Abe village after purchasing a bag of rice, drinks, and other items for the holiday celebration. Around 5:23 PM, bandits on motorcycles intercepted him on the road and seized the Christmas supplies.

The attackers fled with the items without harming or abducting the victim.

Confirming the incident, a community leader said, “Just this morning, I received information at Katari village where I went to see someone that some bandits on a motorcycle snatched foodstuffs from a man who was on his way to Gidan Abe village for Christmas.”
