Tinubu is not T-Pain, he understands Nigerians’ challenges – Onanuga

Presidential spokesperson Bayo Onanuga has responded to perceptions on social media portraying President Bola Tinubu as indifferent to Nigerians’ difficulties, stating that the President feels the nation’s pain and is committed to economic repair.

In an appearance on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics, Onanuga addressed the social media nickname “T-Pain” given to Tinubu, clarifying that the President has not come to “inflict pain” but to restore economic stability. He assured Nigerians that, despite current challenges, brighter days lie ahead, pointing to economic growth and increased revenue, even amidst inflation.

Onanuga’s comments aim to dispel views of Tinubu as disconnected from the public, emphasising his focus on economic recovery.
