Tragedy as deputy commissioner of police collapses, dies inside office

The Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) of the Police Mobile Force (PMF), Abubakar Muhammad Guri, has passed away.
Reports indicate that Guri collapsed and died shortly after entering his office at the Louis Edet House, Force Headquarters in Abuja, on Monday.
According to a source at the Force Headquarters, the late DCP, who was in uniform, collapsed in his office.
“Several officers quickly took him to the hospital, but unfortunately, he had passed away before they arrived.
“We are currently making arrangements for his burial, whether it will be here in Abuja or in his hometown.
“He was a kind man and it is possible that he was fasting when he passed away. May Allah grant him forgiveness and place him in the highest levels of paradise,” the source said.
