Vicissitudes Of Life: When things go from bad to worse
Conversation between women on how their situations go from bad to worse.
B complained about her husband staying at home but not really connecting with her.
C told her she was lucky, at least she had a husband who stayed at home. Her husband could never stay for more than a few hours.
D smiled, “at least your husband lives in the same location, mine is gone for months and I am there lonely and horny without a way out, how much satisfaction can come from sex once in two months”.
E replied her, “at least you have once in two months, better be grateful he can still do it, you don’t know what you have”.
F asked them all to calm down, ” Your husbands have good paying jobs, at least this is happening with money. “It’s not only about money,” they replied.
G said, “rich or poor, at least your husbands have jobs”, we are still praying for a job, at least for him”.
I, on her part could not speak loud, “please can you stop complaining, both of us lost our jobs in the same bank right after our second child.”
J sat down, “two healthy children, wow! I have been spending all I have on the health of mine”.
K said, “I know how that can be, now imagine that it’s children and parents who need care.”

L watched them for a bit then added,” You people have children, hmmmm….what do you know about pain? Is it from being insecure in your own home or with seeing the world do something but you feel like a faulty machine” ?
M smiled, “Shebi na who get husband dey fit think children next”.
N answered her, “No o, don’t even join them because not all singles are the same, you are a single person searching. At the very least, you have a source of income and a career to focus on.”
O shook her head, “you people should relax. I have a marriage that failed, and with it, all that I worked for, so even though it’s rough, I’m not looking to rush back but do people understand?”
P said, “Yeah, I know how that can be. I lost a spouse and on top of that, I still have to mourn”.
Q sat down, too hungry to say much, ” you have all eaten that’s why you can be talking”.
R could not respond.”
That’s the vicissitudes of life.
