Shock as Nigerian, Ghanaian friends in Osun State kill each other
In a shocking turn of events, two best friends, Ali Baba, a 60-year-old Ghanaian palm wine tapper, and Kayode Olete, 52, have stabbed each other to death following a heated argument in Osun, Nigeria.
According to a statement released by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), the bodies of the two men were found in a pool of blood. “Our personnel responded to a distress call and found the two friends in a fatal embrace,” said Kehinde Adeleke, spokesperson for the NSCDC. “Preliminary investigations suggest that a heated argument led to the tragic incident.”
The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, with friends and family struggling to come to terms with the loss. “They were like brothers,” said a neighbor, who wished to remain anonymous. “It’s hard to believe that their friendship ended in such a tragic way.”

The NSCDC has launched an investigation into the incident, but no further details have been released at this time.

The tragic incident has left the community in mourning, with many calling for an end to violence and a return to peaceful living.
