A 20-year-old drug dealer identified as Abdullahi Bawa has been remanded by a Chief Magistrate Court II presided over by A. M. Adamu for stabbing his friend, Baba Ali, to death.

Bawa allegedly stabbed his friend during a quarrel over a hard drug known as Diazepam in Adamawa State. He has been remanded in prison custody for allegedly killing the victim with a pair of scissors.

The remand order followed the arraignment of the suspect before the court by the Adamawa State Police Command.

Bawa also reportedly stabbed a lady known as Hasim, who is currently receiving treatment at a medical facility.

The prosecutor, Inspector Nanugi Tayeri, who described the defendant as a serial offender, informed the court that he committed the crime on the 25th April, 2025.
