Story by Tawheed Yakub, Abuja

Governor Muhammadu Yahaya of Gombe State has expressed deep sadness over the death of 13 passengers in a tragic road accident involving a Kano Line bus.

Reports said the bus, which left the Ibrahim Dankwambo Mega Motor Park in Gombe and was heading to Kano, crashed along the way, killing 13 people and injuring five others. The cause of the accident has not yet been confirmed.

In a statement by his Director-General of Press Affairs, Ismaila Misilli, Governor Yahaya described the incident as heartbreaking and a great loss to the families and the nation.
