She is also the great-granddaughter of Hajiya Hauwa Shehu Lawyer. Families known for their integrity, discipline and strong community values. Little Madina grew up in Lagos Nigeria alongside her sister, Hajiya Asma’u Sarki Lawan, where she received a sound moral upbringing and quality education at early life Nursery and Primary School, Festac Town, Lagos.

Her academic pursuit led her to the prestigious Queen’s College, Yaba for her Junior Secondary education (1993-1995). She later attended Federal Government College Kazaure (1995-1996) and subsequently Federal Government Girls’ College, Potiskum where she obtained her Senior Secondary School Certificate (1996-1998).

Driven by determination and passion for excellence, she proceeded to Bayero University Kano, where she earned a Diploma in Education Management, she further obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Library Information Science and later a Master’s Degree in Conflict and Security Studies from the same institution.

Her career journey began in 2007 when she joined Petrobras Nigeria Limited in the IT Department, through total dedication to duty, exhibition of competence and integrity, she was retained as Documentation Officer, a role she served diligently from 2008 to 2015.

In search of greater and more challenging responsibilities, she relocated to the United States of America in 2015, where she briefly worked in the Medical Field, gaining international exposure and experience.

Presently, Hajiya Madina Alabura Lawal serves as Personal Assistant to the Defence Advisor, a position that reflects her administrative competence, innovation, discretion and commitment to duty.
