The Senator representing Yobe South Senatorial District, Senator Ibrahim Mohammed Bomoi has commenced the distribution of 17,200 bags of rice as Ramadan package to the needy and down trodden people of his Constituency of Yobe South.
The package comprised of 14,400 bags of rice of 10KG and 2,800 bags of rice of 25 KG.
The distribution covers Potiskum, Nangere, Fune and Fika Local Government Areas of his Constituency of Yobe South.
Speaking with the Chairman of Bomoi Support Group in Yobe South, Alhaji Muhammad Buhari Bodori who represented the Senator, expressed that Senator Ibrahim Mohammed Bomoi has been distributing rice to his Community years back even prior to his election as Senator representing Yobe South in the 9th Assembly.
Alhaji Bodori further stressed that Senator Bomoi urged the committees in charge of the distribution of the items to make sure that justice and fairness prevailed so that the items should reach the targeted beneficiaries.
The entire people of Yobe South have applauded this singular gesture of Distinguished Senator Bomoi which would alleviate the suffering of the masses during the glorious month of Ramadan.
They prayed to the Almighty Allah to reward him, guide and give him the strength to continue with his unprecedented good works to the people of Yobe South, as the Senator representing the Zone.
