NSC Board holds quarterly meeting, canvasses for better synergy to enhance shipping business in Nigeria

Chairman, Governing Board of the Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC), Hon. Bashir Sheriff Machina, has expressed optimism that shipping business in the country will continue to flourish with the cooperation of the management of the Council.

Hon. Machina stated this on Wednesday during the quarterly meeting of the board held in Abuja.

While soliciting for improved synergy by all stakeholders towards making the best use of the opportunities the shipping business has in stock, the NSC Chairman said the transportation sector is capable of driving the Nigerian economy.

Hon. Machina commended President Muhammadu Buhari for giving the Council all the needed support to achieve its mandates.

Executive Secretary of the Council, Barr. Hassan Bello, Board members as well as directors of the Council attended the meeting.
