Police in Zamfara arrest dangerous bandit named Tare ka Kashe

The Police in Zamfara State has arrested one of the dangerous bandits who goes by the nickname Tare ka Kashe, meaning stop and kill that have been killing people between Talata Mafara and Sokoto for a very long time.
When he was arrested, security agencies recovered from him 200 AK-47 guns and 5,000 bullets. He was so dangerous in the area that he operated independently, most killings that took place in Rabah, Sokoto State, Bakura, Madaradun, Shinkafi, and Talata Mafara were linked to him.

Meanwhile, at the time of filing this report, Zamfara State Governor, Bello Matawalle, was in Abuja briefing the President on the worsening insecurity in the state. Before he left for Abuja, he told the press that they have a large number of informants that are supplying the bandits with strategic information and that he vows to take all necessary measures to eliminate activities of bandits in the state.
Similarly, villagers from Bakura, Maradun, Shinkafi and Talata Mafara have today staged a protest to the Government House in Gusau with a pledge that they will not go back to their villages until the government have taken drastic measures that will guarantee them peace and security.
So far, according to them, they have bribed the bandits with more than 200 million naira in return for peace, but they are still killing them in hundreds, burning their houses, animals and vehicles, and as such, they will remain in Gusau until a proper solution is found to remedy their situation.
