Adamawa gov’t supports 40,000 small businesses through PAWECA empowerment programme

The Adamawa State Poverty Alleviation and Wealth Creation Agency (PAWECA) has officially commenced the distribution of 40,000 empowerment forms under the Fintiri Business Wallet Empowerment Programme, targeting the first and second quarters of the year.

This initiative spans all 226 political wards across the 21 local government areas of the state.

The programme is designed to provide critical financial support to owners of nano, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), helping them grow their businesses, increase productivity, and reduce poverty at the grassroots level.

Each selected beneficiary will receive ₦50,000 in direct financial support, aimed at boosting their business activities and improving their livelihoods.

This initiative, a cornerstone of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s commitment to inclusive economic growth, underscores his administration’s dedication to empowering entrepreneurs and fostering wealth creation in Adamawa State.

By supporting 40,000 business owners every quarter, the programme is helping to build a more self-reliant and economically resilient population.
