Airforce fighter jet eliminates scores of ISWAP terrorists in Yobe

Airstrikes by Nigerian Air Force (NAF) fighter jets have killed unconfirmed numbers of ISWAP terrorists between Turo and Ambia in Gujba Local Government Area of Yobe State.

The terrorists were eliminated on Monday afternoon after the fighter jet bombed the ISWAP Position in an Intelligence-led Operation.

Intelligence Sources told Zagazola Makama, a Counter-Insurgency Expert and Security Analyst in the Lake Chad region that the military airstrikes were carried out following surveillance missions that showed eight gun trucks conveying fighters.

The sources said many of them were killed in the process.

Zagazola Makama confirmed that the Air Task Force successfully bombed one fabricated MRAP in the axis of Ambia around the Timbuktu Triangle on the same day, Monday, May 22, 2023.
