Armed men in Lagos gun down monarch’s son
Demola, the first son of the Ojomu of Ajiran land, Tijani Akinloye, was shot and killed in the Ajiran community of Agungi Area, Lekki, Lagos State.
The tragic incident occurred on Monday along Chevron Drive, near Ebeano Supermarket.
The killing has caused tension within the community.
A notice from the management of an estate in the area confirmed the incident and urged residents to avoid the Chevron, Agungi, and Ajiran areas.
The notice read: “This is to notify all residents that the king’s son from Ajiran (Agungi) was assassinated this morning along Chevron Drive, close to Ebeano Supermarket.
“We, therefore, urge our esteemed residents to avoid the Chevron, Agungi, and Ajiran areas for their safety.”
