Big Brother Naija Season Six: Winner to go home with N90 million – Organizers

MultiChoice, the official organizers of the renowned reality show, Big Brother Naija have confirmed in a statement that the latest season of the television program will premiere with two opening ceremonies on July 24, and July 25, 2021.

Alongside news of the show’s starting date, season six will also spot several remarkable changes.

Organizers also revealed that there will be no SMS voting as fans will now be able to vote for their favourite housemates for free on the official website and application.

All voting will be conducted online as well as through the DStv and GOtv mobile applications, this is to allow more inclusive participation for fans outside Nigeria.

Despite the changes, host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu will continue his role as the anchor of Big Brother Naija for the fifth consecutive season.

This year’s season has a whopping N90 million up for grabs for the lucky winner. Recall organizers announced the prize a few months ago, its biggest since the show’s first season.

The show will have a new feature in the house, two new currencies as well as housemates.

The BBNaija 6 will, according to the organisers, run for 72 days – between July 24 to October 3.

The 2020 BBNaija edition themed Lockdown edition was won by Laycon after almost 80 days in the House.
