Billionaire Otedola’s daughter, DJ Cuppy, promises sports blogger N10m if Messi signs for Arsenal

Story from Kenneth AFOR, Lagos

Less than 24 hours after Barcelona announced Lionel Messi’s exit from the club, Nigerian female celebrity Disc Jockey, DJ Cuppy has promised to give a certain sports blogger N10 million should the Argentina international sign for Arsenal Football Club.

Barcelona on Thursday was unable to renew Messi’s contract which could see him stay at the club until June 2026 due to the financial rules of Spain professional football body La Liga hindering the club from signing players including Messi.

Consequently, Messi is said to have departed Barcelona after the disappointment and this prompted Kelechi, the sports blogger, to wonder whether Arsenal fans are permitted to fantasise about seeing Messi play for the Gunners.

Reacting to the illusion, DJ Cuppy has promised to personally give Kelechi N10 million if his hopes of seeing Messi at Arsenal came true.

The Disc Jockey who is the daughter of popular Lagos billionaire businessman Femi Otedola used to be an Arsenal supporter before switching to Manchester United recently.
