COVID-19 : Kano records first death case
Kano State recorded its first coronavirus death on Wednesday, while the number of cases in the state rose to 21.
The state ministry of health confirmed the development last night on its verified Twitter handle.
Following this development, Kano State now has a total number of 21 confirmed cases of COVID-19, no recovery but one death.
Meanwhile, 34 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Wednesday, taking Nigeria’s total infections to 407.
According to NCDC, a total of 128 persons have been discharged, while 12 deaths have been recorded so far.
