EFCC arraigns man in court for ₦108m fertilizer fraud
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has brought Sanusi Hashim before the Kaduna State High Court in Zaria, accusing him of misappropriating ₦108 million intended for fertilizer supply.
Hashim faces charges of dishonestly misappropriating funds, in violation of Section 293, punishable under Section 294 of the Penal Code.
The EFCC claims that Hashim received ₦108 million from Ahmad Mohammad Liman and Basiru Mohammad for the supply of fertilizer from Indorama Eleme Fertilizer and Chemicals but diverted the funds for his personal use.
