Ex-CDS Musa meets Tinubu at Aso Villa
Former Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, met with President Bola Tinubu on Monday at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Musa was sighted arriving at the State House at exactly 7:03 p.m. and was escorted to the President’s office by a senior security official. Wearing a dark-green traditional northern outfit with elbow-length sleeves, the former CDS was seen publicly with the President for the first time since his retirement on October 24, 2025.

The purpose of the closed-door meeting remains undisclosed. However, it comes at a time of rising security tension across the North, following the abduction of schoolgirls in Kebbi, the attack on worshippers in Eruku, Kwara State, and the kidnapping of Catholic schoolchildren in Minna, as security agencies ramp up counter-terrorism and anti-kidnapping operations in the North-West and North-Central regions
