Ex-GOCOP president’s sister found dead on Abuja street
Security concerns have intensified after the lifeless body of a woman, identified as Chigbo Princess Mediari, was found on one of the busy streets in Abuja’s Central Business District.
Neptune Prime gathered that the deceased was the sister of Maureen Chigbo, the immediate past President of the Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP).
An identification card recovered from the deceased confirmed that she was an employee of a Federal Capital Territory (FCT) parastatal.
The incident comes just days after Chinemerem Chuwumeziem, a nurse with the Federal Medical Centre, Abuja, was found dead under suspicious circumstances.

The tragedies have intensified concerns over the resurgence of “One Chance” criminals in Abuja and the general safety of women, particularly during daily commutes to and from work.
Over the years, there have been repeated calls for swift action by relevant security agencies to curb the growing menace of “One Chance” robbers, who pose as commercial vehicle drivers to rob residents of their valuables, often inflicting severe injuries and, in some cases, causing death.
