First-Class graduate appreciates Gov. Buni for employment offer

Surayya Muhammad Kabir, a first-class graduate from the Department of Physics at Yobe State University, has expressed appreciation to Yobe State Governor, Dr Mai Mala Buni CON, COMN, for offering her an automatic appointment.

Presenting the letter of appointment to the Governor in Damaturu on Thursday, Surayya, said the appointment was an honour done to her and her family.

According to a statement signed by
Mamman Mohammed,
DG Press and Media Affairs to the governor, Buni congratulated Surayya, saying she is a role model for other girls in the state, which led to her automatic employment.

“You are an excellent ambassador of the girl child education programme in the state, others should emulate this excellent feat,” he said.

Gov. Buni assured the commitment of his administration to the development of education in the state.

“We will continue to ensure that no child in Yobe State is denied education due to his or her economic background,” Gov. Buni assured.
