Former Kannywood actress narrowly escapes acid attack in Kano

Sadiya Haruna, the former Kannywood actress- turned businesswoman dealing in various assorted aphrodisiac products, escaped an acid attack in Kano state, after her business hours along BUK road.
According to reports, the business woman was about to enter her car when she heard weird movements behind her, she turned and saw some people rushing towards her with a substance suspected to be acid and attempted to pour it on her face. She quickly opened her car, jumped inside and locked it, she later took off but the people succeeded in taking her brother and his friend.
Later, when she successfully drove to Tahir Guest Inn to meet her boyfriend, she started calling her brother’s line but it was not reachable, and she was later told that her brother and his friends were sighted in a police station and were detained on allegations of being armed robbers, she quickly issued a press and video statement that her brother is innocent of any allegation, and she will do anything possible to make sure no harm comes to him.
She said she later contacted her people and relatives in Kano, who in turn alerted her parents in Maiduguri to pray for her, adding that she is in a serious problem with some people that wish to eliminate her by all means.
Her family promptly called their contacts in Kano about the situation. However, sources from Kano Police Command revealed that Sadiya’s brother is not with any security agencies in Kano.
Sadiya Haruna was recently arrested by Kano Hisbah on her raw manner of advertising her products through youtube, which Hisbah found to be nasty and may easily pollute the minds of young ladies, they later sentenced her to six weeks to Islamiyya school, where she will be taught to be of good behavior and how to decently advertise her products. But after she finished the six weeks moral training, she returned to her business, this time, worst than she used to.
Few weeks back, the former actress was involved in a serious fight on social media with another Kannywood actress Teema Makamashi, who allegedly is threatening to expose an Abuja based politician, after she slept with him and recorded the scene, Sadiya Haruna took over the scandal from the politician and exposed Teema Makamashi as a fraud and blackmailer.

Two years ago, she accused her former boyfriend and a senior actor and producer in Kannywood of being a homosexual and Gigolo, she was arrested and taken to court, but some close associates intervened and the matter was settled out of court.
