The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), led by the National Chairman, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, were on Thursday in Damaturu to commiserate with the government and people of Yobe state over the unfortunate attack on Mafa village by Boko Haram insurgents.

In a statement by Mamman Mohammed, Director General of Press and Media Affairs to the Yobe State Governor, Ganduje conveyed the APC’s deep sympathy, acknowledging the devastating impact of the insurgent attack. “We are part of the Yobe family, and we feel the pain and sorrow suffered by the government and people of Yobe State. We are here to console our brothers and sisters over this tragic incident,” Ganduje said.

The APC Chairman urged the government and security agencies to enhance collaboration to more effectively combat the insurgency. He also extended his condolences to the families of the victims, expressing hope that the state will soon overcome these challenges by the grace of God.
