Gov. Buni emerges chair at 5th Lake Chad Governor’s Forum in Maiduguri (Pictures)

Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, CON, is the chairman of the 5th Lake Chad Governor’s Forum ongoing in Maiduguri, Borno State.

With the Theme “Rebuilding the Lake Chad Basin,” regional leaders have gathered to discuss challenges and strategies for promoting peace and development in the region.

The meeting will run from January 29 to 31, hosted by the Yobe State Government at the Muhammadu Indimi Learning Centre, University of Maiduguri.

It is being attended by governors from Chad, Cameroon, Niger and Nigeria, security agencies, traditional leaders, national and state donors, among others.
