Gov. Buni signs 3 bills into law

The Governor of Yobe State, His Excellency, Honourable Mai Mala Buni has assented to three (3) bill to enhance the speedy administration of justice and to address the problem of violence against persons and the protection of children in the state.

According to a statement signed by the Press Secretary to SSG of Yobe State, Shuaibu Abdullahi, the Governor assented the bill for a law to establish the Yobe State Justice Reform Team to coordinate the various justice institutions and other matters thereto.

Also, bill for a law to prohibit all forms of violence against persons in private and public life and to provide maximum protection and effective remedies for victims and punishment of offenders and other related matters.

Similarly, the Governor assent bill for a law to provide for the protection of children in Yobe State and other related matters thereto.
