Iran signals tougher, faster response to any hostile action

Iran’s Defense Minister, Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, says the country has reached its highest state of military preparedness, warning that any act of aggression will trigger a response “stronger and more decisive than ever.”
Speaking on Thursday, Nasirzadeh said Iran’s Armed Forces are now operating with enhanced strategic confidence, real‑time intelligence capabilities, and superior battlefield awareness, according to multiple Iranian media reports.
“We track threats precisely and continuously,” he stated, explaining that beyond monitoring, Iran’s priority remains maintaining full combat readiness across all defense units.

“With complete strength and full intelligence dominance, Iran today stands fully prepared to confront any threat swiftly, decisively, and with far greater force than before,” he added.
The minister also referenced Iran’s performance during the 12‑day conflict waged by the Israeli regime and the United States in June. He described Iran’s military actions during that period as a “limited showcase” of its true capabilities.
“We revealed only a portion of our power, not the entirety of Iran’s defensive capacity,” he said, noting that significant deterrent capabilities remain deliberately undisclosed.
According to Nasirzadeh, Iran’s response during the conflict unfolded in two stages. The first phase focused on defense — including the interception and destruction of hundreds of Israeli drones valued at hundreds of millions of dollars, along with the arrest of local collaborators.
In the second phase, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) launched a sweeping retaliation, firing hundreds of ballistic missiles — including hypersonic models — at strategic nuclear, military, and industrial sites across the occupied Palestinian territories.
This counterattack formed part of Operation True Promise III, the latest in a series of retaliatory operations targeting Israeli positions.

Nasirzadeh cautioned that any misjudgment of Iran’s readiness would come at a cost. “If our adversaries make even the slightest miscalculation and initiate hostility against Iran, they will face an immediate and regrettable response,” he warned.
