Kano businessman, Alhaji Ibrahim, drags accusers to court

Kano businessman, Alhaji Ibrahim of Adasawa quarters who is being accused of impregnating a minor has run to a Sharia Court seeking protection.
Neptune Prime recently reported exclusively, how the businessman was said to have invited 14-year-old Humaira Hussaini, a JSS 3 student, to his house and allegedly raped her and in the process got her pregnant.

The young girl, after putting to birth, told her parents that their neighbour Alhaji Ibrahim was responsible. She narrated that Alhaji Ibrahim invited her to his house one day and took advantage of her after giving her a substance to drink.
Hussaini Ado, Humaira’s father, confronted Alhaji Ibrahim who insisted that they take a DNA test, which proved that he was actually responsible for the pregnancy.
Alhaji Ibrahim ran to a Sharia Court to lodge a complaint before Justice Sarki Yola, and the 4th of October has been fixed for the mention of the case.
Humaira Hussaini, told our correspondent in tears, that the Kano State government, Kano State Hisbah, Human Right Lawyers, and the National Association of Women Societies, should assist her to overcome this problem because the police are not interested in arresting the accused.
