Kidnapped musician, band members regain freedom after paying millions in ransom (Video)

After being held captive for four days, kidnapped musician Omoba De Jombo Beats and his band members have been released.

The group had performed in Abuja and were on their way to Kogi for another performance when they were abducted over the weekend.

The band members appeared visibly different as they regained their freedom. Their uniform Ankara had stains all over, and they looked slimmer than before they were kidnapped. Additionally, as they alighted from the bus, they were all seen limping.

The men thanked God as they bowed upon being freed. A video was taken shortly after their release, which showed the men looking worse for wear. Their appearance in the video indicated that they had been through a harrowing experience during their captivity.

Their release came after millions were paid in ransom. The exact amount of the ransom has not been disclosed.
