The Chairman, National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Alhaji Zikrullah Kunle Hassan, on behalf of Board Members, Management and staff of the Commission, mourns the sudden but honourable exit of the revered Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji Dr Shehu Idris, a celebrated peoples’ Emir.
The demise of Alhaji Shehu Idris came at a time dignified royal fathers like him are most needed in cementing the unity of the Nigerian society along with the vision of the state and the federal government of Nigeria.

The NAHCON family extends its heartfelt condolence to the President and Commander in Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces, President Muhammadu Buhari, the Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasiru El-Rufa’I, the family of the late Emir, the Emirate and entire people of Zazzau over the loss of the venerated statesman.
