NGO donates medical kits to 3,850 women, children in Jigawa

A non-governmental organisation (NGO), Hadejia Ina Mafita, has donated medical kits to no fewer than 3850 pregnant mothers and children under the ages of five in Kirikasamma Local Government Area of Jigawa State.

Contents of the kits include pregnant women’s tabs, medications, gloves, and children’s medications among others.

The Primary Healthcare Manager of the NGO, Alhaji Musa Abdullahi Daladige, while inspecting the drugs at the Kirikasamma Model Primary Health Center announced that beneficiaries will receive the drugs directly from the NGO.

Abdullahi commended Hadejia Ina Mafita for the efforts to improve health care services at the grass-root level and charged the center to be just and fair in the distribution of the drugs.

Responding, the Medical Officer in charge of Kirikasamma Primary Health Center, Malam Suleiman, thanked the organisation for donating the medical items and assured them that they will be put to good use.
