Victor Osimhen netted a brace, scoring on either side of halftime, while Akor Adams completed the rout with a late fourth goal. Nigeria controlled possession, created numerous chances, and kept Mozambique at bay throughout the contest.

The convincing win marks Nigeria’s biggest victory of the tournament so far and reinforces their status as one of the favourites for the title. The Super Eagles will now face either Algeria or the Democratic Republic of Congo in the quarter-finals as they continue their quest for a first AFCON crown since 2013.
