The Adamawa Police Command reports that the notorious “Shila Boys” have claimed the life of 37-year-old Umar Abdulkadir.

The command’s spokesperson, SP Suleiman Nguroje, revealed this to the News Agency of Nigeria in Yola on Saturday.

The Shila Boys, armed youths, have been causing havoc in Adamawa and various other areas. Their activities involve robbing people of their mobile phones, jewelry, and other valuable items.

According to Mr. Nguroje, the incident occurred during the early hours of Saturday, as the group of youths attempted to snatch Mr. Abdulkadir’s mobile phones on Ajiya Street in Yola-North Local Government Area. The command received the distressing information at 3:00 a.m. that day.
