NSCDC establishes 7 more divisions in Gombe

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC) Gombe State Command is set to establish no fewer than seven additional divisions.

The command so far operates 11 divisions across the state.

Disclosing this in a press statement made available to journalists by the Public Relations Officer, DSC Buhari Sa’ad, the creation of seven divisions was part of Commandant Achir Abraham’s charge during an inauguration of a seven-member committee.

The committee has Deputy Commandant of Corps, Imam Deji, as Chairman; AC Murtala Muhd as Vice Chairman; and AC Onyeke Emmanuel, SC Yuguda Abdulrasheed, SC Muhammed I. Daniya, DSC Adah S. Mogomya as members; and DSC Buhari Saad as secretary.

Abraham urged the committee to create an outpost, where establishing a division is impossible, adding that the essence was to ensure the protection of lives and property in Gombe State.
