The Nasarawa State Police Command has apprehended a 21-year-old woman, Fatima Salisu, suspected of being an arms trafficker, following credible intelligence.

This was disclosed in a statement by the command’s spokesperson, Ramhan Nansel, on Thursday.

The PPRO said Salisu was arrested for alleged smuggling of ammunition through Keana and Doma areas of Nasarawa for criminals in Katsina, where she resides.

“Acting swiftly on the intelligence tip-off, Commissioner of Police, CP Shetima J. Mohammed, ordered the immediate deployment of the Command’s Anti-Kidnapping Unit.
