Police arrest 26-year-old man for allegedly threatening to kill mother in Nasarawa

A 26-year-old man, Kamaldin Abu Sabo, has been arrested for allegedly attempting to kill his mother in Lafia, Nasarawa State.

The Commandant of Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) in the state, Mahmud Gidado Fari said, “The mother of Kamaldin reported that her own son has been saying that he would kill her for no reason, that is why we have arrested him and would soon charge him to court.”

The suspect, a tailor, however, denied the allegation. “I do not agree with the statement of the NSCDC that my mother reported me, it was my elder brother who reported me to the NSCDC,” he added.

He said he was not a cultist when asked why he has a tattoo of a skull on his right arm, he said, “I had the tattoo because I like it, but I am not a cultist.”
