The rumoured reunion between popular Kannywood actor Sani Danja and his former wife Mansura Isah also a former Kannywood actress and society lady is not true.
According to findings by Neptune Prime’s correspondent in Kano, Saleh Inuwa, it was Mansurah Isah who took to the social media and announced that her marriage and Sani Musa Danja have collapsed. And since then, people have been making series of comments positive and negative on the issue, but Sani Danja kept quiet and maintained his cool.
On her part, Mansura Isah was saying all over the place in the needs of other divorcees in Kannywood and going out for dinner in places that she is not supposed to considering the fact that she is a mother. In fact, her first daughter Khadijatul-Iman has come of age as such, what she did was an embarrassment to her former husband and his children.
Recently, she released a film in which she said, “We are now back together”, this was what people have been interpreting to mean that she is now back to her husband. We can report authoritatively that Sani Danja and Mansura Isah are miles apart, there are those who tried behind the scene to settle them, especially Sani’s bosom friend Yakubu Muhammad, his wife and Ali Nuhu, but it didn’t yield positive results.
Similarly, there are other female members of Kannywood that have been celebrating the separation between Mansura and Sani and they are making it impossible for the former couple to come together again. Some are even spreading wild rumours within the industry that Sani has another wife in Kaduna while Mansura too was quoted as saying, “She would now be on enjoyment spree, by embarking on things she missed before she married Danja 13-years-ago”. Gossip or no Gossip, the authentic information on the ground is that there is nothing like an arrangement for coming together between the former couple.
It is also worrisome that since the advent of social media, many people wrongly got their image damaged by fake reports on social media, though some may say this group of bloggers are doing it for monetary purposes, the issue is affecting society and if this is not checked, it will not end well for everybody. People are even suggesting that Kano State Films and Censorship Board should ban these bloggers as most of them did not even read up to secondary school level, they are only in dirty business in the name of social media to make money and settle scores with perceived enemies.
All efforts to get Mansura Isah’s comment or that of Sani Musa Danja did not succeed as both of them refused to answer our call or text messages.
