Sardauna’s grandson, Magajin Garin Sokoto, is dead

The death has occurred of Hassan Danbaba, the grandson of the premier of the defunct Northern Nigeria, Late Sir Ahmad Bello of blessed memory.
Close family member of the deceased Alhaji Buhari Sarkin Tudun Jabo told the media in Kaduna that Hassan Danbaba died on Saturday afternoon, at 44 Army Hospital in Kaduna after a brief illness.
He said, “We are in serious shock, therefore, I cannot give details of the deceased background or how he died, right now, we are preparing his body to be taken to Sokoto for burial”.
He said the deceased will be buried today in Sokoto his home state, his death is a great loss not only to members of the close family but Sokoto State and Nigeria as a whole.
Alhaji Hassan Danbaba, who was 51 at the time of his death held the title of Magajin Garin Sokoto and the Chairman of Stonehedge Hotels, he died living behind 3 wives and six children.
His mother, Aishatu Ahmadu Bello the second daughter of the Late Premier of Northern Nigeria died at the age of 75 in April 2021.
