Eight UNIJOS students killed in Plateau road crash Eight people have died in a tragic road accident opposite Unity Bank on Zaria Road in Jos, the Plateau State capital. The crash occurred in the early hours of Thursday and involved a trailer and a bus carrying University of Jos students. Eyewitnesses reported that eleven students were on the bus. Seven were pronounced dead at the scene, and one more later died at the hospital, bringing the death toll to eight. Three others are receiving treatment. All victims were male.
