Iranian IRGC commander, defence minister killed in Israeli airstrikes Iran’s Defence Minister, Amir Nasirzadeh, and the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Mohammad Pakpour, have reportedly been killed in Israeli airstrikes targeting key military sites inside Iran. Security sources said the coordinated strikes were carried out by the Israel Defense Forces as part of an expanded military operation against Iranian strategic installations.
