Final-year nursing student found beheaded in Imo apartment, residents demand justice

Residents of Umuadara community in Umulogho, Obowo Local Government Area of Imo State, have called for justice following the gruesome killing of a female nursing student, Wendy Achumba. The deceased, who hailed from Ngwa in Abia State, was a student of the College of Nursing, Umulogho, where she had completed her Midwifery programme and was undergoing her Post Basic studies. Reports indicated that Wendy was found beheaded in her private off-campus apartment after neighbours became alarmed when she failed to come out of her room or respond to repeated calls.
